Don’t be tired in the morning. Don’t get angry around lunchtime. Hungry plus either makes it so easy to grab a doughnut (or two) and fast food. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep the diet consciousness in mind, especially in the middle of a rat race.
Still winning, though. Keeping up the daily exercise regimen and seeing results. I even ran a 7:38 mile last week.
That’s the thing I guess, moderation. It wasn’t the best diet week, but relatively speaking I’m doing pretty well. I even had leftover steak and brussels sprouts for dinner last night. This challenge stuff is great for getting everything in the fridge eaten.
It seems like these general feelings of success and contentment and energy and well-being and all the good stuff might be a side effect of nutrition and physical activity. If it’s garbage in, garbage out then it should work the other way, right? Good stuff in, good stuff out? That and I got Jason Statham in a Facebook quiz on the actor who’d play me in a movie. That probably has something to do with it too. Whatever, I’ll take it.
(I went sailing today. It’s not all burpees!)
