My first photo was of my dad in the back yard, taken with my fancy new Polaroid Button camera in 1981. I’ve been making pictures ever since. In 1994 I completed my BFA in photographic design at the University of Georgia, and finished my MFA at SCAD in 2011.
My photographs have appeared in many group shows and publications, including the Savannah Morning News, Creative Loafing Atlanta, and SCAD’s Silverworks magazine in 2007. I have served as the juror for Carolina Gallery’s photo invitational as well as several of Artist Trifecta gallery’s photography scavenger hunts. In 2011, I created and curated a group show called “The Process,” at Castleberry Hill’s Granite Room gallery.
I’ve taught workshops and made classroom presentations about various aspects of photography, including “Photo Sharing Online” at Atlanta’s Showcase School in November 2011.
